Quality Management

Since the beginning of 2007, the ECE regulation 109 has become compulsory for all retreaders within the EU. This certification regulates retread production standards and incorporates a quality-management system.

But Bridgestone Retread Systems goes further than this, supporting Retread Partners with a program that includes a quality management handbook and a yearly “system and process audit”. The objective is to help our Retread Partners to establish their quality management for certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, including ECE 109. For this purpose, we work together with Bureau Veritas Quality International.

The approval of our tyres is obviously a strong safety reassurance.
